Rapa Nui, or Easter Island as it is commonly known is a small triangular shaped island that lies 3510km from Chile.

Easter Island is listed as a UNESCO world heritage site.

It is famous for its 887 moai - statues of kneeling figures. Easter island also has around a thousand sites where petroglyphs (pictures carved in rock) have been found as well as an extensive network of caves.
